What does Love Mean?

Recently I received one of those chain emails that ask you to forward to everyone you know.  I receive hundreds of emails every day and am very behind in responding (be patient, I will get to you) so I don't often open them and I very rarely forward them to people, but this one warmed my heart.

This email included the answers children gave when they were asked, "What does Love Mean?"  Granted the responses may or may not really be from children, but that isn't the point.  The point is to share this deep insight with you.  These are their answers:

"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love.'"
Rebecca- age 8

"When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth."
Billy - age 4

"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs."
Chrissy - age 6

"Love is what makes you smile when you're tired."
Terri - age 4

"Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK."
Danny - age 7

"Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen."
Bobby - age 7

"If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate."
Nikki - age 6

"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday."
Noelle - age 7

"Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well."
Tommy - age 6

"During my piano recital, I was on a stage and I was scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore."
Cindy - age 8

"Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken."
Elaine-age 5

"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford."
Chris - age 7

"Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day."
Mary Ann - age 4

"When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you."
Karen - age 7

"You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget."
Jessica - age 8

The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife. Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, "Nothing, I just helped him cry."

I asked my heart, "What does Love Mean?"
* Love means I'm never alone, no matter how alone, sad or frightened I feel. Believing that my essence is love means feeling a sense of balance and peace from deep within without fear.
* Love is a knowing throughout my being that I am fully supported and have the purse of spirit that supplies my needs and more.
* Love is seeing a tiny spider scrambling up his web in a pine tree early in the morning when I walked the dog and knowing my dad was saying "Rise and Shine" from the angelic realm.
* Love is my grandmother's higher self exciting the dog when she came to see me on Saturday while her physical body was experiencing dangerously low blood sugar in the emergency room of the hospital.
* Love is the breath of God as fresh air when windows are opened in the spring to remind me of infinite possibility...
* Love is feeling the pain of others when their loved ones physical body dies and sending that love to them to comfort and ease their pain.

Love never dies.  Love is eternal. Love is permanent.

My grandpa has lived with the angels since 2007.  Grandma tells me he is coming to get her.  I know she is right, he will come to get her.  Love means knowing that she will continue to be with me in another form, my heart blesses her on her way while my human-ness grieves the human loss of days long gone.

I send love to each of you reading this along with a prayer.

Father, Mother, God, Creator of All That Is...  Please surround our Soul Kisses community with love and light to bring them comfort, peace, joy and harmony as they travel their life path.  Help them to tap into the knowing deep within them that they are fully supported to create the highest possible outcome in all areas of their lives.  Help them to open their arms wide to receive the prosperity and love that is their birthright!

In gratitude,
Amen

Embrace the love that you are and lift your heart form sadness.  Look within to connect with those you love who have transitioned to the realm of the angelic.  Everyone has the ability to feel the resonance of a calling card from a deceased loved one.  Simply allow yourself to receive the love...

The love you share lives forever.

In love and light,
Kate
